Description
This project help me explore the fiber glass material and its possibilities. I was able to achieve my goal to create light weight molded furniture. I created a lounge setting complete with ambient lighting installation.

Fiber Glass - My design inspiration were the TWIST designed by Pearson Lloyd and the MT1 chair designed by Ron Arad. This project gave me an opportunity to create these iconic designs in fiber glass material. I conducted thorough material exploration and got an insight into its advantages, limitations and applications. I adapted the pieces as per my design vision and styled the furniture pieces for a lounge setting complete with a lighting installation. I created the installation using an antique window frame which texture painted in white and I created a design for an acrylic panel which was laser cut an installed against the window frame.
